Letter from the President
Today, our chapter proudly consists of over 130 talented and dynamic women who have embraced our national theme, “Forward with Fortitude: Engaging Our Sisterhood, Empowering Our Communities, Elevating Our Impact.” We are committed to fostering strategic partnerships and uplifting the community through impactful programs aligned with Delta Sigma Theta’s National Five-Point Programmatic Thrust, which focuses on:
-
Economic Development – Promoting financial literacy, homeownership, and generational wealth.
-
Educational Development – Providing scholarships, mentoring, and support for academic success.
-
International Awareness and Involvement – Responding to global needs and fostering cross-cultural understanding.
-
Physical and Mental Health – Encouraging wellness, prevention, and access to care.
-
Political Awareness and Involvement – Inspiring informed voting, advocacy, and policy change.
Our Chapter’s theme for this biennial is “In Unity We Trust, Delta’s Principles We Must.” While things change, Delta’s principles remain the same. Delta’s principles continue to guide us as we love, laugh, learn, and work together to reach goals and impact the community.
